It is always a delight finding a review worthy restaurant within a hotel. All Day Hotel Dining or ADHD offers a variety of flavoursome international and local dishes. Recently opened and set within The South Beach hotel, the Philippe Starck designed décor sets the scene for an epicurean adventure.
ADHD (click here) is as visually striking as is the rest of the hotel. Leaving the elevator on the basement floor you are immediately greeted by a magnificent grey marble communal table that if needed could easily fit half the hotel on and the bar which is made out of the same cut of stone. What is just as impressive than the marble is the ‘meteor’ type rock hanging the full length of the table over head. Chuck in a movie size projected image of Audrey Hepburn and you have this visually exciting, luxurious, quirky sensory overload.

What we ate:
Crispy Chinese Style Duckling Crepes – w/ Sweet Bean Paste
Truffle Oxtail – Braised Oxtail, Shaved Truffe – Breaded and Fried
Mee Goreng – Stir-fried Yellow Noodles, Sambal, Shrimp, Chicken, Vegetables
Hainanese Chicken Rice – Poached Chicken, Homemade Chilli Sauce, Ginger Puree, Fragrant Rice
Berry fields – Red Berry and Cherry Mascarpone Dome, Grand Marnier Marinated Berries, Yoghurt Mousse
Cheesecake variation – Cheesecake, Cheesecake Mousse, Vanilla Ice Cream

The standout dishes were the Truffle Oxtail which was surprisingly delectable and the Berry Fields Dessert that was light, whimsical and packed with a robust berry dome.

Overall:
Our meal at ADHD (click here) was flavoursome and relaxed. While the staff were still a little fresh to the menu, they were tentative and most of them were knowledgeable. Most certainly a must if you are a guest at The South Beach.
