The Olympian

“The Olympian Hotel is a great option to unwind, just outside the manic speed of busy Hong Kong”

The Olympian Foyer

A luxurious boutique hotel located in West Kowloon, The Olympian Hotel Hong Kong (click here) is within walking distance of the Olympic MTR station and the Olympian City shopping centre.

Check’n In

Walking through the hotel, I felt as if I was one of the only guests there. With 3.3m high ceilings and larger then usual hallways on only 1 floor, we casually made our way down to our suite, passing by the gym and self-service laundry (that was a big plus for us).

3.3m Ceilings

The Olympian has been specifically built to maximize space for guests travelling to Hong Kong on longer than usual visits. Recently opening in March 2016 and with only 32 rooms to its’ name, The Olympians’ guests are afforded the luxury of a lot of additional living space to really stretch out in. With the limited amount of rooms on offer, a certain level of personalization comes along with it, which might not be found in the larger hotels.

The Room

Entering our room, immediately the sheer size of the room comes to mind, It’s enormous (for Hong Kong standards), equipped with a kitchen, (another unusual thing for Hong Kong), a seperate living area, a spacious bathroom and large bedroom with walk-in wardrobe. The stone bathroom had dual basins, bathtub, and a three-meter high rain shower (great to relax in after a long day walking around)

Food & Beverage

Each room has a fully functioning kitchenette and there is a common area for a la carte breakfast and refreshments in the mornings.

Amenities

Embracing the contemporary residence concept, the boutique hotel boasted a small gym, business center, kitchen area along with a self-service laundry area. The hotel is purpose built to be a ‘home away from home’ suitable for those who are after a mid to long-term stay in Hong Kong. Washing machines and driers are a great added bonus (there is also standard laundry service that is offered through the concierge team).

Office Space At The Olympian

Sophisticated Style With An Oriental Touch

    Hi Greg,

It really depends what I'm doing and where I need to be. Because there are so many good hotels in HK. The Olympian was right up there! Where's your favourite?
