Fraser Suites | Singapore

‘Fraser Suites is ideal for mid to longer-term stays and for larger groups’.

Fraser Suites (click here) is part of Frasers Hospitality Group which is a conglomerate of world class residences and hotels worldwide. In Singapore there are also; Fraser Residence, Fraser Place & Capri by Fraser.

Fraser Suites Singapore is located in the exclusive River Valley precinct. The serviced apartments are placed amongst one of the most astute residential districts in Singapore. The 255-apartment complex has shopping centre on the ground floor, which gives an added bonus of convenience. They are a short 5-minute cab ride to popular nightspots Clarke Quay & Boat Quay, several restaurants, Orchard Road Shopping District and only a short drive to the business district.

The View From The Balcony

Check’n In:

What makes these apartments quite unique to the hospitality scene in Singapore apart from the amenities are the house-keepers (or aunties), most of have been working since the grand opening 18 years ago. There are dedicated teams of only two house-keepers to each floor, which gives a level of personalisation and familiarity to the guests.

The Room:

We stayed in the 3-bedroom apartment, which was well equipped with a large kitchen, laundry, balcony, 2 bathrooms and a spacious living/dining area. The apartment was extremely clean and tidy, with a good layout and had a lovely cityscape view.

Pool & Gym:

The apartments have an abundance of amenities that normally aren’t offered with serviced apartments, such as a spa, room service and on the 6th floor there is a large 24/7 gym, lap pool with deck area.

Food & Beverage:

On the ground floor there is the reception and dining area. We had both breakfast and lunch at the restaurant. Breakfast was extremely poor, and I would much prefer to go to one of the great cafes near by. However for lunch we had a great meal (some of the best satay I have eaten in Singapore!)

Satay At Fraser Suites

We were fortunate enough to do a site visit to Fraser Place at Robertson Quay, although boasting a completely different vibe and layout to Fraser Suites, it is clear to see why there are so many long-term residents (the longest being 15 years!). The apartments are very homely, “condo style” and cosy compared to the chic city style.

Fraser Suites Condo

Pros:

  • Spacious laundry
  • Good size kitchen
  • Very clean & neatly presented
  • Room service
  • Large gym & lap pool
  • Decent Gym

Cons:

  • We arrived late after a disastrous flight and on arrival the concierge working at the time, was on his phone and didn’t help with bags so we had to drag them up ourselves. Which isn’t normally a problem but when both suffering from food poisoning it was.
  • Small third bedroom (3 bedrooms cater to 5 people not 3 couples).
  • Breakfast was extremely poor (lunch was good though).

Overall:

Our stay at Fraser Suites was spacious and enjoyable, being a great spot for a longer stay in Singapore.

  1. Funny you mentioned the bell boy down stairs! If it was the same person when we stayed in December we had the same issue. My wife was pregnant at the time too. Besides that. Great place for a longer than expected holiday!

    1. Hahahaha it must be! My Bf was so sick and looking back on it, it’s quite funny. That was the only fault for our entire stay.
