My February Favourite Natural Skincare Picks

Blessed By Nature Natural Skin Care Range

“I adore all things skincare, especially natural skincare”.

I often get emails & messages from people saying that they are really interested in making the swap to “natural” but they a) are hesitant to make the switch to a more expensive product without knowing how “great” they work and or b) don’t know where to start. So, let’s start from the beginning with 2 products that are a great starting point for those wanting to make the swap to a natural skincare regime.

There is something so refreshing coming across an Aussie brand that not only nourishes your skin naturally but also cares for our environment. Better yet, a natural skincare brand that offers a range of products that are affordable and suitable for the whole family! Blessed By Nature (click here) is a brand that I have been trialling for a few months now, so I would love to talk about a few of my favourite products.

Blessed By Nature Natural Skin Care Range

My absolute favourite from their range has got to be their beautiful Wild Harvest Rose Hip Oil (click here) followed by their Tinted Moisturiser (click here).

What is rosehip oil?

Not to be confused with being derived from roses, rosehip oil is derived from the fruit that is left behind after a beautiful flower has bloomed and dropped all of their petals. The oil is then carefully extracted from the seeds from the fruit ‘rosehip seeds’ to create a true powerhouse of an oil within the beauty world.

Why I love rosehip oil?

I love rosehip oil for a number of reasons, such as it being packed full of antioxidants, omegas 3, 6 & 9 along with it being rich in beta-carotene (vitamin A). Super nourishing, great for hydration and it feels so divine on your skin!

Natural Skincare Is The Best Skincare

When do I use it?

Morning & Night.

After my Vitamin C serum in the morning – hot tip: I love to combine my tinted moisturizer with my rosehip oil. This creates a beautiful natural glow and keeps my skin feeling hydrated and dewy all day long. (See image below for the “glow” I am talking about!)

At night, after I have washed and cleansed my face.

Tinted Moisturiser

When I am wanting a nice light and airy coverage, I will opt for a lighter tinted moisturizer that will also protect my face with an SPF (to prevent any sun damage).

The Blessed By Nature Multi Effect Tinted Moisturiser is full of nourishing ingredients like: Macadamia, Aloe Vera, Jojoba, Vitamin E & Kakadu Plum.
