J SPRING 2016

AT THE J SPRING RUNWAY

Fashion On Deck With J Spring

I was extremely fortunate enough to attend Jessica Minh Anh (renowned global fashion sensation) J Spring 2016 fashion show. It took place in the middle of the water, onboard the sundeck of the Costa Luminosa, with the backdrop a full interrupted view of the Harbour Bridge, Opera House & Sydney Harbour. Jessica’s vision for modern fashion and couture forward thinking, created a lot of hype and anticipation for her upcoming show, so as you can imagine I was pretty excited to be attending!

On the morning of the J Spring event, the forecast for the day looked promising, with recent days being torrential rain, a lot of guests were nervous of the event being rained out, however, luck was on our side. In fact, it was rather hot and the issue of no shade was a little problematic!

The exclusive red carpet event premiered nearly 100 haute couture and ready to wear dresses from around the world. I personally wasn’t blown away with every outfit, but there definitely were some gorgeous pieces in the collection. The team from Lancome & Redken helped create futuristic looks. Jessica’s architectural hairstyle in the formation of the Sydney Harbour Bridge was a show stopper in itself.

J SPRING 2016

The experience of the J Spring event itself was sensational, having the runway on the top of Costa Luminosa, with the Sydney Harbour as the backdrop was breathtaking. Having already entertained and showcased her talent on top of the One World Trade Centre, Grand Canyon and Eifel Tower, I am very interested in where she will pop up next!

I wore a beautiful dress from Amy Taylor Collection which you can see more of her styles here.

A big thankyou to J Model Management for inviting me.
